The label “French school” needs more precision than a school name or a French-language class. The current AEFE listing identifies EFIP as a partner school and names nine homologated levels, from Petite Section through Sixième. It also shows where the structure changes: Cinquième is listed without homologation, while Troisième through Terminale use CNED. That does not make the upper pathway invalid, but it means parents should request a written grade map before assuming every level has the same status.

The 2026/27 tuition range is ฿175,000–฿235,000

The school’s financial rules print the year inside the document and publish ฿175,000 for Nursery, Reception and Year 1; ฿200,000 for Years 2–6; ฿215,000 for Years 7–10; ฿220,000 for Year 11; and ฿235,000 for Years 12–13. The middle bands moved slightly from the previous schedule while the endpoints stayed unchanged. Treat those numbers as tuition, not the entire cost of joining.

Entry, language support and upper-year costs matter

EFIP publishes ฿50,000 first registration, ฿5,000 administration and a ฿4,000 new-pupil uniform charge. Intensive French is ฿20,000 for applicable pupils. Selected secondary books cost ฿8,000–฿13,000. CNED is ฿39,000 in Year 10 and ฿48,000 in high school, while DNB and baccalauréat examination costs are separate but unpriced. Families should ask whether each item is mandatory for the child’s exact grade.

Transport and meals add a visible second layer

Annual bus pricing is ฿35,000 one-way or ฿46,000 return. Meal plans run ฿12,960–฿18,000, with a separate Wednesday surcharge shown by period. Visa-support administration is ฿5,000 for a child and another ฿5,000 for one parent. The published sibling reduction is 10% for the second child and 15% for the third and later children.

BJP is not a second French-system option on current evidence

BJP’s live site describes an English curriculum from preschool through Year 10, an IGCSE pathway, GED and ESL. It lists French as a foreign language, not as a parallel French-national curriculum. Its current 2026/27 tuition is ฿80,000–฿120,000 plus ฿12,000 annual registration. That is a valuable budget option, but it belongs in an English-curriculum comparison rather than being presented as a lower-cost AEFE alternative.

Get the pathway
in writing.

• Ask which exact grade is AEFE-homologated, locally taught or CNED-supported.
• Ask how French-language placement is assessed and whether the ฿20,000 intensive-French charge applies.
• Request one dated invoice covering registration, administration, uniform, books, CNED, meals, bus, visa support and examinations.
• Confirm where DNB or baccalauréat examinations are entered and who pays the separate exam costs.
• Ask how a transfer into or out of another French-system school would be documented for the child’s grade.
